Pre-launch software update for the HTC EVO 3D addresses calendar issue
Although it’s not surprising to see handsets getting software updates soon after they’re officially released or prior, it’s undoubtedly much better than having their launch dates being delayed indefinitely to address issues.
Well, the HTC EVO 3D is getting a pre-launch software update that actually addresses one bug found with the calendar – and the timing is right on cue before it’s officially available nationwide in a couple of days. The update brings the EVO 3D’s software version to 1.13.651.7 and brings a fix for “Calendar entries in certain formats force close while editing.” More than appreciable for the many that rely heavily on the calendar, the 26.59MB update is being rolled out as we speak.
If you happen to have an EVO 3D right now, then you should be able to download it right now, but if you haven’t seen the notification just yet, you can always initiate the manual process to download it.
