Posters for the Huawei Mate 8 confirm previous leak
It was just yesterday when we showed you renders of the Huawei Mate 8. Those images were confirmed today when posters for the new smartphone were leaked on Weibo, giving us a look at both sides of the handset. The phone is expected to be unveiled tomorrow, with the home grown Kirin 950 chipset under the hood. The Mali-T880 MP4 GPU that crunches graphics on Huawei's latest high-end SoC, has already been dragged through benchmark tests. The results? With the Kirin 950 powering this device, the Mate 8 is going to be a favorite of gamers.
Besides all that horsepower under the hood, the Huawei Mate 8 will feature a 6-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. Versions of the phone with 3GB and 4GB of RAM will be available, and 64 GB of internal storage is inside. A 16MP camera is rumored to grace the back of the phone, with an 8MP camera in front to shoot selfies and handle video chats.
While the U.S. celebrates another turkey-filled Thanksgiving tomorrow, Huawei will be taking the wraps off of its new phone. That means that we will have all the details about the Mate 8 that you want to know about, including specs, pricing and availability.

Before you peruse the slideshow, we would be remiss if we didn't point out the obvious; the pictures of the posters were not shot in high definition, which means that our long time friend Mr. Blurrycam continues to find employment as a photographer. Still, the images are clear enough to confirm the legitimacy of yesterday's leak.
