Poll results: quite a lot of voters would love to see a Note 7 with vanilla Android
Well, it's almost here, folks – in less than an hour, we will get our first official look at Samsung's highly-anticipated Galaxy Note 7. And, as can be expected, some will buy it, some will admire it, and others will hate it, all for their individual reasons. But there is no denying the fact that the launch of a new Note is a great display of what mobile tech is capable of today, as Samsung packs the phablet with all it can hold and then some. For example – we are about to get the first iris scanner lock on an Android smartphone, all thanks to the Note 7!
The heavy-hitting Samsung phablets may be generally admired as hardware monsters, but some users still have a beef with Samsung's signature user interface, and may choose to wait for another smartphone for that very reason. How many, you ask? Well, we decided to see and ran a poll yesterday, asking whether our readers would be more likely to buy the upcoming Note 7 if it came in a Google Play Edition variant – one with vanilla Android and no extra fluff on board.
