Poll results: Do you think the Nokia N1 Android tablet resembles Apple's iPad mini too much?
While Nokia won’t launch its N1 Android tablet this year (expecting to start selling it in early 2015), the company already revealed almost all there is to know about the device - including its specs, price, and design.
Last week, shortly after the N1 was officially announced, we ran a poll asking you what you were thinking about the slate’s physical appearance: does it resemble Apple’s iPad mini too much? We now have the poll’s results, and they’re not really surprising.
1453 voters (63.51%) are seeing the resemblance between the Nokia N1 and Apple iPad mini, but aren’t bothered by it. 518 voters (22.64%) say that the resemblance bothers them, while 317 voters (13.85%) don’t see any resemblance - though we’re not really sure how that’s possible.
Just like the Apple iPad mini 3, the Nokia N1 comes with a 7.9-inch, 1536 x 2048 pixels display, and a body that has almost the same dimensions. Nokia’s slate runs Android 5.0 Lollipop, and will cost only $249 - considerably less than the iPad mini 3. Do you plan to buy one?
