Pokemon GO celebrates one year anniversary with special Pikachu, limited time items
As some of you might be aware of, Pokemon GO was launched last year in July, and since then, players have caught more than 125 billion Pokemon. Today, the developers announced a special event that will run from July 6 at 1:00 PM PDT to July 24 at 1:00 PM PDT.
The new Anniversary Box contains Incubators, Max Revives, Ultra Balls, as well as Raid Passes at a discount in the in-game shop. According to Niantic, more in-game events could be announced in the coming weeks.
Also, Niantic promises to reveal more information for those who plan to attend the Pokemon GO Fest Chicago this July, events hosted at select Unibail-Rodamco locations this August and September in Europe, as well as Pokemon events at the Pikachu Outbreak in Yokohama, Japan, this August.
