Have you ever wanted to eradicate the entire human population from the comfort of your own home? That's where Plague Inc comes in. It is an incredibly addictive and well-made strategy game where your aim is to infect everyone, mutate the disease, and ramp up the lethality to kill all humans before a cure can be found. And now, there is a new expansion with real-life diseases.
The new update adds what are called Scenarios, which feature various real-world diseases like the Black Death, swine flu, and more. The idea is to add twists to the core gameplay by changing how the population reacts. With that idea in mind, in addition to these real-world diseases, developer MiniClip has added a number of fun scenarios like "Who cares?", where the populations of rich countries are so absorbed in reality TV that they don't care at all about diseases spreading in poorer countries. That's both an amusing scenario, and one that is disturbingly believable.
The Scenarios update actually hit iOS at the beginning of the month, but it just made its way to Android. The game is free-to-play on Android and 99 cents on iOS, and is definitely worth the price either way. We would also highly recommend the Necroa virus add-on (aka zombies!)
