Picture of Moto G5 leaks along with a shot of the box it comes in
Earlier today we passed along the latest specs allegedly belonging to the Moto G5. The specs were discovered on the GFXBench website. Also discovered today on the Brazilian OLX app, where many go to buy and sell posted items, was the image of the Moto G5 and the box that it came in. Eventually, the listing of the unannounced handset was pulled and the picture removed, but not before the image was preserved forever.
We expect the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus to be introduced on February 26th at MWC in Barcelona. The G5 should feature a 5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 430 chipset, which includes an octa-core 1.4GHz CPU and the Adreno 505 GPU. 2GB/3GB of RAM is inside with 16GB/32GB of native storage, respectively. A 12MP camera will be on back, with a front-facing 5MP snapper for selfies and video chats. A removable 2800mAh battery keeps the hamster wheel spinning, and Android 7.0 is pre-installed. We should also point out that there is a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the button under the screen.

The Moto G5 Plus will have a slightly larger 5.2-inch display, a more powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset, and a larger 3000mAh removable battery. Both models are protected from spills and light rain. Check out the picture of the Moto G5 and the box it came in, by clicking on the slideshow below.
