Picture allegedly showing off the casing of the Apple iPad Pro shows off second connector port
Apple is allegedly hard at work building a 12.9-inch tablet that could be named the Apple iPad Pro or the Apple iPad Plus. We have seen a number of leaked images showing third party cases for the tablet, and other photos that showed the alleged casing for the slate. Today, some new pictures were discovered on Chinese social media site Weibo, showing off a number of items including one of four speaker grills expected on the tablet.
The picture also reveals what appears to be a second connector on the left side of the tablet. This would allow the iPad Pro to be plugged in even if standing up in a dock. We can also see the volume rocker, rear camera and the earphone jack.
The Apple iPad Pro or Apple iPad Plus is expected to have an Apple A8X or Apple A9 chip set inside, and Apple might be offering a stylus as an optional accessory. While there is some hope that we might see this unveiled at WWDC in June, the smart money is betting that Apple will introduce the large-screened slate next fall along with the next iteration of the iPhone.
Thanks for the tip!

Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal said that the iPad Pro would feature a USB 3.0 connector, an optional keyboard and a mouse. Perhaps it is the USB port that is seen in the first picture in the slideshow below.
