Pick up the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ in the U.S. right now from Samsung and Best Buy
Last month, Samsung started accepting pre-orders for the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+ in the U.S. Fast forward to today at warp speed, and both unlocked models are now available for purchase from Samsung's online store, or from Best Buy. The pair are being offered at full retail pricing, which means handing over $724.99 for the 5.8-inch Galaxy S8, or $824.99 for the 6.2-inch Galaxy S8+.
Purchase either handset from Best Buy or Samsung, and you will be given the option to buy the Gear 360 VR headset for only $49. The unlocked version of either phone is compatible with all four major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint. Both phones will also work with prepaid SIM kits for Verizon Wireless Prepaid, Cricket Wireless, Tracfone, Net10, H2O, GoPhone and Simple Mobile.

With the unlocked version of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, you can be assured that no carrier bloatware will be found on your device. For many consumers, that alone is a good reason to go with an unlocked model, although we should mention that Midnight Black is the only color available for these SIM free handsets.
