People en Espanol used the iPhone X camera for its story on the 50 most beautiful people
Over the years, we've seen the camera on the Apple iPhone used in situations where a more expensive setup is usually found. The iPhone camera has been used to film movies, music videos and magazine covers. The latest example can be found in the Spanish language version of People Magazine, People en Espanol. It happens to be the top selling Hispanic magazine in the United States and contains original content separate from the English language version.

The issue of People en Espanol magazine in question includes a story on the 50 most beautiful people of 2018. You might not know many of the names, but the list includes Demi Lovato, J. Balvin, Amara La Negra and 47 others. Each of the 50 had a portrait and a biography, and each portrait was shot using the world's most popular smartphone in the first quarter. That, of course, would be the Apple iPhone X.

People made sure that the quality of the portraits would be high enough for inclusion in the magazine. And readers would surely know if something wasn't up to snuff, especially when you consider the topic of the story. Why, it is all enough for a pleased as punch Tim Cook to tweet all about it earlier today.

The iPhone X isn't the only current handset with a camera good enough to replace professional gear. John Legend's latest music video was shot using a Google Pixel 2.
