Aimed squarely at Square, the new PayPal Here dongle from the renowned payment service takes credit and debit cards, and can be attached to your Android device or the iPhone, via their audio jacks.
For listening to music then you'd have to use your Bluetooth headset, but it's a small inconvenience for the ability to take credit and debit card payments on the go. Best of all - the PayPal Here dongle is free, looks stylish, and charges 2.7% per card transaction vs 2.75% for Jack Dorsey's Square.
PayPal's mobile payment service has other neat tricks up its sleeve - it takes checks and you can invoice with the app, as well as track your cash payments, for a well-rounded mobile experience. You can sign up for the dongle on PayPal Here's dedicated website, and will be notified when available. In the meantime, watch the service demo below.
