Amazon is taking the price of the 32GB Google Pixel down to $324. The is the factory unlocked U.S. model and it will work with all four major U.S. carriers. It carries a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 821 chipset, and features 4GB of RAM. A 12.3MP camera adorns the back of the device, and an 8MP selfie snapper is found in front. Keeping the lights on is a 2770mAh battery, and the phone's IP53 rating means it is protected from dust and splashes/light rain. The sale price is available for the Quite Black model only.
If 32GB is not enough storage for you, the same exact Pixel with 128GB of native storage is $349.98. And Amazon also has a deal on the larger screened 32GB Google Pixel XL for $334.97. This is also the factory unlocked U.S. version in Quite Black, and is equipped with a 5.5-inch display and a larger 3450mAh battery.
If you can hold on for a few weeks, you might see these phones become even more affordable. On October 9th, Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL during its #MadebyGoogle event. The Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel and Pixel XL should all see their prices slashed by retailers looking to make room for the new models.
