Parrot's AR.Drone is officially coming to the US this September for $299
Remember that neat iPhone Wi-Fi controlled helicopter that managed to make a big splash during CES this year? Well it looks like Parrot's AR.Drone will soon be taking its first flight into the market as it is officially coming to the US this September. The timing couldn't be any better seeing that it was just about anyone's guess as to when the neat remote controlled flying quadricopter was expected to become available. Apple iPhone and iPad owners will be able to connect to it via Wi-Fi and can view video from either of its two on-board cameras to provide you some fun to your sometimes busy schedule. Early adopter would naturally have to pay a premium to be the first to grab one for themselves as it's priced at $299. When you consider that this isn't your average remote controlled helicopter, as it packs a ton of features, the pricing may not be seen as too bad by some people.
