Palm Pre Plus for Verizon is given the green lights for webOS 1.4.5
It was only a few days ago when we reported that Verizon's version of the Palm Pre Plus would eventually see an update for webOS 1.4.5 some time in the coming weeks, but it appears as though they've shortened that time frame. Good news to those owners waiting patiently to get in some action time with Angry Birds, which is only offered on webOS 1.4.5 devices, as Verizon's premier webOS device is slated to see the update later today.
Not only will the update pack on support for PDK games, it's also reported to improve the handset's Mobile HotSpot functionality for Windows Vista 64-bit users while also speculated to offer just a little bit better battery life. Once owners start to see the notification hit their handset, AT&T's version of the Palm Pre Plus will be the sole non-webOS 1.4.5 device on the market.
