Oppo event scheduled for August 11th will unveil Oppo N1 mini in India?
Last week, phone manufacturer Oppo took to its Indian Facebook page to tease the Oppo N1 mini and its "Revolutionary 24 Mega Pixels Ultra HD Camera." According to a report published today, Oppo has scheduled an event for August 11th in India, to introduce the device. Speaking of the camera, the Oppo N1 mini has a 13MP sensor that rotates from the back to the front, allowing users to employ the same camera for regular photos and for selfies.
Using the "Super Zoom" technique that was introduced with the Oppo Find 7, the 13MP pictures are stitched together to form a 24MP image. Other specs include a 5 inch screen with resolution of 720 x 1280, a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. A 2140mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 4.3 is pre-installed along with Oppo's Color UI.
India is already home to a number of Oppo models such as the Oppo Find 7a, Oppo N1, Oppo R1, and the Oppo Find 5 Mini to name a few. While we won't learn about pricing for the Oppo N1 mini until the phone is released, in Malaysia the handset goes for 1398 ringgits (27,000 rupees, $436 USD). The device should be priced the same in India.
Thanks for the tip!
