Oppo N1 teaser video lasts 23 seconds, doesn't show the phone
Yet to be introduced, the Oppo N1 is the next camera-centric smartphone that is on the way. The manufacturer's website has a countdown timer that is now counting down until September 4th when the next video in a new series of teasers will be released. The first teaser is hot off the press and doesn't show the phone, which is too bad. What we do know is that the phone will be unveiled on September 23rd with a 12MP to 13MP snapper. Oppo's own N-Lens will be used on the phone which also employs the Owl imaging sensor which allows the camera to take great pictures in low-lighting conditions.

Besides offering a top-shelf camera, the Oppo N1 will also offer a rear touch panel that will be on the upper half of the back cover. We're not sure what to make of the video except that the pastel colored boxes bring to mind iOS 7. Oppo also has let us know that the N1 will be easily operational with just one hand.

The Oppo N1 will be up against some tough competition like the Nokia Lumia 1020, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, and the Sony Xperia Z1. We have no word yet on pricing but at least we do know when the next teaser will be released.
