OnePlus and JBL team up to deliver premium earphones
Less than 3 weeks ago, OnePlus announced its upcoming set of affordable earphones – the Silver Bullet, made to accompany the manufacturer's flagship phone – the OnePlus One. Now, in a bit of a surprising move, the company has announced yet another headset, this time built in partnership with JBL.
Dubbed the JBL E1+ Earphones, it seems the set aims to be the more "premium" of the now two offered by the company, and it comes at the price of $39.99. It comes in an aggressive red color, fitting the OnePlus One's original color scheme of red and black, with each of the earbuds sporting a smoked-silver plate and transparent gray eartubes, which we have to admit, gives the E1+ a desirable and stylish look.
The earphones feature a flat, tangle-resistant cable, with a remote attached to it, which allows one to control audio playback, take / reject calls, or even take pictures. They employ JBL's PureBass technology, which should deliver deep bass sounds, without distorting the listening experience.
Just like the Silver Bullet, the E+ will be available in October, according to OnePlus One. You can check out the company's store page, where both accessories are listed as “coming soon”, here: OnePlus One Store
