OnePlus 6T is reportedly launching on T-Mobile - would this make you want to buy the phone?
Later this year, for the first time ever, a OnePlus smartphone should be available via a major US carrier: T-Mobile. According to a recent report, T-Mobile and OnePlus have agreed to sell the unannounced OnePlus 6T, which will logically succeed the OnePlus 6 (pictured above).
If everything goes according to plans, the OnePlus 6T will be available at T-Mobile starting October, possibly costing $550. While there's no word on the design and specs of the new phone, this is likely going to be an incremental upgrade over the OnePlus 6 (available to buy unlocked since May for prices starting at $529). As you probably know, the OnePlus 6 is an attractive handset with high-end features that you normally can't get at this price point, including a Snapdragon 845 processor and at least 6 GB of RAM.
The OnePlus 6T that's expected to land at T-Mobile will be fully optimized for the carrier's network, thus featuring support for its new 600 MHz LTE band (which improves signal reception). This being said, we want to know if the phone's availability through T-Mobile will make you more likely to buy it. Our poll below is waiting for your votes!
