Over the weekend, OnePlus showcased a new edition of its 5Tflagship smartphone - the OnePlus 5T Star Wars, seen in the video above. Designedin collaboration with Lucasfilm (owned by Disney), this is an official StarWars phone, featuring the franchise's famous logo on the back, and StarWars-themed software.

The OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition will be released in India in mid-December, but what about other countries? Well, we've contacted OnePlus tospecifically ask about the smartphone's availability in the US and Europe. The company replied with a rather vague statement:

"The Star Wars OnePlus 5T is not going to be availableeverywhere. It's an activity led by India."

That's all OnePlus can say for now. Perhaps the companysimply doesn't know (yet) if it wants to launch the 5T Star Wars Edition in theUS and Europe.Or maybe they don't have the green light from Lucasfilm/Disney to do this. In any case,if you were hoping to buy this special OnePlus 5T outside of India at somepoint, chances are that you won't be able to. Bummer.
