OnePlus 3 and 3T update improves selfies quality, fixes WhatsApp issues
Two of the slightly older OnePlus flagships, the 3 and 3T are getting a small but important update that brings some improvements that will make selfie lovers very happy. The update contains some bug fixes as well, along with the usual security enhancements that OnePlus pushes out on a monthly basis.
As mentioned in the official changelog, OxygenOS 5.0.4 is expected to improve image quality for the front camera so that your selfies will look better than ever before (hopefully). Also, the update contains a fix for the manual ISO setting issue of third-party camera apps.
Speaking of third-party apps, OnePlus is also addressing two issues with two popular apps that many Android users have installed on their smartphones: WhatsApp and Snapchat.
Unsurprisingly, OnePlus 3 and 3T are getting the July security patch, the latest update protecting phones against malware released by Google earlier this month.
Your OnePlus 3 and 3T phones should receive the OxygenOS 5.0.4 update in the next couple of days once a broader rollout commences.
