The OnePlus team used the third edition of their value-for-money flagship to finally get rid of the invitation system that has plagued the wider availability of its phones from day one. Yes, the OnePlus 3 will be available to all who desire to buy it from the get-go, or at least that's the promise. Knowing the OnePlus logistics and quality control arrangements, all this immediate availability remains to be executed.
Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, however, so we will just list what the company promised in the press release and keynote when it announced the OnePlus 3. First off, the phone will definitely be available in India for the equivalent of about $420, and that's for 6 GB RAM/64 GB storage version. For a phone that boasts the latest Snapdragon 820 chipset and 16 MP optically-stabilized camera, this pricing is pretty neat.
The pricing for the rest of the regions that the phone is said to be available in - North America, Europe and Asia - hovers around the 399 EUR/USD or £309 mark, too, or the equivalent in other currencies, with availability slated for immediate release. Not too shabby at all, but we'll see how the first batch of orders pans out.
