OnePlus 3 and 3T now receiving OxygenOS 4.5.0 update, here is what's new

4comments

Great news for OnePlus fans who decided to go for the OnePlus 3 or 3T, as the Chinese company continues to release updates almost on a weekly basis. The last OxygenOS 4.5.0 update is rolling out as we speak and bring a lot of small improvements into the mix.

You might not receive the update immediately since the OTA is pushed in waves, but OnePlus has just confirmed that everyone will get it in the next few days, so you should continue to tap that “Check for Update” button from time to time.

Before listing the official changelog, it's worth pointing out that the update contains a few changes for OnePlus standalone apps like Launcher and Gallery. These apps have already been released in the Google Play Store and will be updated independently, so OnePlus 3/3T users shouldn't get any changes in OxygenOS updates going forward.

System
  • Added lift up display
  • Added Gaming Do Not Disturb
  • Added low priority notification
  • Added network speed in status bar
  • Added scheduled night mode
  • Added OnePlus Slate font
  • Redesigned Dash Charge animation
  • System stability and battery improvements

Launcher
  • Added Shot on OnePlus wallpaper

Phone
  • Redesigned calling UI

Camera / Gallery
  • Added Shot on OnePlus watermark
  • Redesigned photo editor in Gallery

File Manager
  • Added secure box

Keep in mind that this isn't an open beta build, so everyone who owns a OnePlus 3 or 3T smartphone should get the new OxygenOS 4.5.0 update sometime this week.
