With the VR unveiling of the OnePlus 2 taking place on July 27th, a Weibo user has posted what is alleged to be a "spy sketch" of the eagerly awaited sequel to the OnePlus One. According to a tipster using the handle @KJuma, who posted this on the Chinese microblogging site, the new handset will feature a 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch screen. The current model features a 5.5-inch, 1080 x 1920 resolution screen. There is no word about what the resolution will be on the OnePlus 2 display.

The tipster adds on his Weibo page that the phone will look very much like the OnePlus One with some small changes. For example, the number of speaker holes will be doubled, and the device will feature a thin metal build. The OnePlus 2, according to this tipster, will be 5mm to 6mm thin giving off quite a svelte appearance. We already know from OnePlus that the "2" will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 SoC and will employ the Type-C USB port, which allows for the cable to plugged in with either side on top.

All of the specs, pricing and launch dates are sure to be made known on July 27th when the phone is unveiled. In the meantime, we suggest that you take this story with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the tip!
