Official BlackBerry Twitter app going into public beta
After a month of solid use, there are some BlackBerry users out there that were fortunate enough to enjoy the wonders that the official Twitter app offered – the closed beta was an invite only process. For the many people who did not receive that invite, things are looking to be more hopeful as Twitter for BlackBerry is now going into public beta. Diehard Twitter users might have opted to install the leaked version of the app, but for those not comfortable in dabbling with it, they will now have access to the app as well like those who got the initial invitations. This will no doubt unleash the flood of people who are starved to read the latest tweets from all their friends and family. The public beta will go live tonight starting at 9:00 PM EST, so be sure to be download it through either the Test Center in the BlackBerry App World or in the BlackBerry BetaZone when the time finally arrives.
