BlackBerry users might soon get a present in the form of an official Twitter client. At least, that’s what an image found on Twitter hints of. Apparently, a Twitter user has posted an image, which is believed to be showing the official app for BlackBerry devices. Although we don’t have any official information at the moment, some speculations suggest that a good number of useful features might find their way into the application. These include a nice way of notifying the user of new tweets through the homescreen (like the notification for new SMS), options to follow/unfollow, send direct messages and replies, an easy way to tweet photos directly from the camera or the memory card, as well as integration with the phonebook.
A rumor has it that the Twitter client for BlackBerry should become available sometime in February. You can check the tweeted photo below, do you find it authentic?
