Who would know how to protect the HTC One S better than HTC? The Taiwan based manufacturer is offering a line of hard shell cases for the model, covered with soft touch. There are two different versions available, The $39.99 case includes a spring-loaded kickstand on back which allows you to prop up your One S while watching a movie or video. If that is too rich for your blood, a $24.99 case sans kickstand is being offered.
The HTC One S
The cases are available in four colors, gray, granita (red), navy blue and black with the higher priced kickstand model available only in the latter color. The protection afforded by these cases is limited to the sides and back of your HTC One S and when the kickstand is in use, it blocks your access to the micro-USB port.
There was no precise date when the cases will be available, but HTC says it will be "soon". Additionally, HTC will be offering a line of TPU cases for the HTC One X which should be on shelves at the same time as the HTC One S cases.
