This tweet confirms that the HTC One will launch via T-Mobile on April 24
Not once,
but twice on Monday we passed along a leaked document that showed that the
HTC One would be launching from T-Mobile on
April 24th. Tuesday, in the form of a tweet from the carrier, the news became official and we now can stay that the nation's fourth largest carrier will release its version of the new HTC flagship a week from Wednesday. While there has been no official word on pricing, with T-Mobile no longer using the 'S' Word, we expect to see the phone priced at $99.99 for a down payment with 24 monthly installments of $24 due. While there is no contract to bind you to the carrier, just remember that your phone stays locked to T-Mobile until it is paid off.
This Friday, Sprint and AT&T will launch the device. What's that? Speak up,we're not young anymore. Horizon? Yes, HTC certainly set its sight on the horizon with the HTC One. What?! Oh, you were asking about Verizon. No, Virginia, the HTC One
is not coming to Verizon at this point. The nation's largest carrier might be satisfied with the
HTC DROID DNA. But it will be $199.99 for the 32GB model at AT&T and Sprint, as long as you sign the requisite two year contract. AT&T will eventually have the 64GB Big Gulp size of the HTC One for $299.99 on an exclusive basis.
