Nova Launcher getting Sesame Shortcuts integration in latest update

Nova Launcher is a one-man business app that gathered a lot of followers since its release in the Google Play Store. The Android launcher has a strong core of beta testers that get access to new features and improvements before they're pushed to the general public.

That gives us the chance to talk about the next Nova Launcher update, which has just been released in the beta channel. These changes aren't yet available to everyone, but if you're a faithful Nova Launcher user, here is what's you'll get very soon.

Developer Kevin Barry recently published Nova Launcher 5.4 beta, which adds deep integration for Sesame Shortcuts (for long-press shortcuts and search function). Keep in mind that while the new feature is free for everyone, the Sesame app costs $2.99 if you want to continue to use it after a 14-day trial.

Furthermore, the small update brings Nova Launcher users the option to hide navbar on Samsung Galaxy S8. The new ability can be found in the Settings / Look and Feel menu. Finally, an update to round searchbar style has been implemented too.
