Nokia's Chairman of the Board Jorma Ollila also leaving
Well, well, well, it looks like the Old Guard is really out at Nokia. After the CEO was given the boot on Friday, and Anssi Vanjoki gave his six months notice today, another iconic name in Nokia will be leaving.
Jorma Ollila, the Chairman of the Board since 1999, will step out in 2012. He was Nokia's CEO from 1992 to 2006, when he promoted Kallasvuo to the position and, some say, has been the most influential person in Nokia during all that time. Wow, we are certainly waiting with baited breath for the changes in Nokia's strategy, looks like they are going all-in this time.
