Four Nokia smartphones will get the Face Unlock feature in the coming months
HMD Global continues to surprise Nokia fans with improvements to their favorite devices, many months after their release on the market. The last time we reported about such an action, HMD brought a Pro Camera mode to the Nokia 8.
Not to mention that the Finnish company promised that all current Nokia smartphones will receive the upcoming Android P update once Google makes it available.
Today, HMD Global announced yet another important feature that's not yet available on its smartphones will be released to four Nokia devices in the not so distant future – Face Unlock. Those looking for this specific security feature will be pleased to know HMD plans to add it to the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 plus, Nokia 8, and the new Nokia 6.1.
Face Unlock will come to these four Nokia smartphones as an OTA (over the air) update in the coming months. If you own one of the four Nokia handsets mentioned earlier, you'll just have to wait for HMD to release the update, as no clear time frame was mentioned.
