New York-based advertising agency Cohn & Wolfe whipped up an outdoor campaign for Nokia's Lumia devices, named "Glove Love". The ads, placed at London's Westfield Center and Old Truman Brewery, react to the city's notorious weather changes by displaying messages, such as "Make Love and Send Texts", "Make Calls with Gloves On", and "Send Texts with Gloves On", as it gets warmer or colder outside. This advertises the Lumia devices' sensitive touchscreens which can be used while wearing gloves.
By the way, the first 100 people to arrive at the two said locations and donate a single glove to Nokia, will be rewarded a new pair of gloves. The next 100 will receive a pair at address of their choice. However, the giveaway must have expired by now.
Previously, Nokia hosted a different glovey-dovey campaign, called "Do the Green Thing". It affectionately paired single gloves by collecting and sending them to landfill sites, where they get re-purposed, or matched with other single gloves to be used again. Say what you want about Nokia, but the Finns have big, warm hearts.
