Nokia launches massive firmware update for N79

In what is possibly the largest update in recent history, the Nokia N79's first firmware update takes the device from version 10.046 to 11.049, and with it comes a 4,000+ word changelog that we can't even begin to dissect for this article. Realizing that a phone's primary purpose is, well, to make phone calls - we searched for anything specifically related to reception or general usage and found 34 fixes (such as calls occasionally disconnecting after 20 minutes; quite the problem in our book). With a release of this nature, it does beg the question: with all of these updates found in the new firmware, was the initial release ready to begin with?
