Our Canadian friends are surely getting their groove on with S60 5th Edition as another decent offering from Nokia's camp has invaded the country. Unlike the US where Nokia's penetration is still somewhat shaky, Canada already plays host to the Nokia N97 smartphone through Bell, but Rogers looks to pack their own sweet handset in the form of the Nokia N97 mini. The slimmer looking device is already looking to be launched by Rogers as shipments are being sent out across the country to dealers in the hopes that it will receive the green lights to start selling. Depending on your taste, you can either pony up $499.99 for the handset that won't handcuff you to a contract or you can simply sign your life away for 3 years and purchase it at the subsidized cost of $99.99. At this point though, Canadian consumers are well in tune with the 3-year tethering, but we'd imagine that it would most likely be hard for US consumers to swallow. Nonetheless, the S60 love is sure to spread as another decent Nokia offering is bound to make its mark.
