Nokia Lumia 822 Hands-on
We were at the Windows Phone 8 event in San Francisco and our hopes were answered with several official announcements, including the Nokia Lumia 822 for Verizon Wireless.
The Lumia 822 feels great in the hand, but due to the lanyard attached to it, it was difficult to get a full idea about the weight and feel of the device. The 4.3-inch display is vivid and clear and very responsive. The Windows Phone 8 user-interface is the same, fluid, smooth and looks well put together. Microsoft has committed to having the most sought after apps available for the device. Holding the device up close, it does not feel like a lesser-cousin to the Lumia 920. It has solid hardware, a familiar fluid OS and nice features like a lock button on the side, and a physical camera button.
Check out the pictures and hands-on video below and tell us what you think!
