Nokia Lumia 720 goes on sale in Europe
After the most affordable Nokia Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Lumia 520, hit shelves across the globe (including the United States), it was about time for its more powerful, slimmer but equally colorful sibling, the Nokia Lumia 720 to arrive.
The Lumia 720 has now gone on sale in Russia and should soon arriving across the globe very soon. The device features a larger, 4.3-inch display than the 520 model, and comes with a number of neat options like support for wireless charging and expandable storage via microSD cards. It runs on a 1GHz dual-core Krait processor.
The Lumia 720 comes in yellow, white, black and red, and offers a 6.7-megapixel camera that Nokia emphasizes does well in low-lit situations.
The device went on sale in Russia for the astronomical price of 14 990 Russian roubles (around $480). In comparison, the price Nokia is asking in India is much more affordable - 18 500 Indian rupees or $340.
