Nokia Lumia 1520 gets certified in China
A familiar looking device was spotted at China’s Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center. This is the agency in the country that is equivalent to the FCC in the states, and the familiar device was the Nokia Lumia 1520. This is the first Windows Phone phablet and is expected to be unveiled on September 26th. According to a new tweet from evleaks, the launch date for the Nokia Lumia 1520 has been pushed back to October 22nd.
Thanks to the GDR3 update installed on the phone, the device will have a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution on a 6 inch screen and will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. A 20MP PureView camera will be on back, with Carl Zeiss optics. A 3400mAh cell should keep the lights on for most of the day, and a 32GB capacity microSD slot will be available to expand storage.
