Nokia Lumia 1020 on AT&T now getting the Nokia Black update with RAW image support
If you have a Nokia Lumia 1020, there is a possibility that you may be a photography nerd. While Windows Phone is becoming more popular, the platform doesn't have a huge user base, and that means the main selling point of the 1020 is the incredibly 41MP sensor and Carl Zeiss glass. Add in the powerful Nokia Pro camera app, and the Lumia 1020 is a solid choice for photographers, and now you'll be getting support for RAW images.
The support comes as part of the Nokia Black software update that is now rolling out to the Lumia 1020 on AT&T (we haven't heard anything about the international version of the device). In addition to adding RAW image support, the Nokia Black update adds all of the features that you would expect from the Windows Phone GDR3 update, like rotation lock and custom ringtones. It also brings over the features first seen on the Lumia 1520, like the Nokia Camera, Storyteller, Bluetooth 4.0 LE support, and richer notifications on the lockscreen.
The update should be rolling out now. Sound off in the comments if you are also seeing the update rolling out to international versions of the Lumia 1020.
