Nokia Italy pegs the Lumia 920 and 820 for mid-November availability, reveals pricing
UPDATE: Nokia Germany also outed a PR saying that the phones are arriving mid-November, but the SIM-free price of the Lumia 920 there will be EUR 50 more than Nokia Italy cites, while the 820 remains at EUR 499. Russia also announced its pricing, and it is 25,000 rubles (~$800) for the 920.

Nokia Italy has finally solved via a press release the biggest mystery around the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 - their pricing. Asked about the availability of both handsets, it issued a worded corporate statement, but also pegged the price of the Lumia 920 at EUR 599 (~$772) at launch, and the Lumia 820 for EUR 499 (~$643).

The Lumia 920 SIM-free pricing is about the norm for a flagship in Europe, just the way around $600 is about the norm in the US, so Nokia doesn't seem to be charging a premium for that optical stabilization camera and gloves-on touchscreen.

The SIM-free 16GB Galaxy S III, for example, has been cut at Expansys Italy to EUR 529 now, months after introduction, and the just-released iPhone 5 goes there for north of EUR 800, again for the 16GB version, whereas we have 32GB in the Lumia 920. The Lumia 920 and 820 will launch in Italy on TIM, 3 Italy, Vodafone and Wind.
