Nokia E7 available for pre-order in Britain, set to cost £584.99 ($922)
A word from Britain says that Nokia E7, probably the most anticipated of all handsets expected to be released by the Finnish giant this holiday season, is available for £584.99 (or $922) on pre-order. Simply put, we guess this doesn't bode well for its future, since $922 is a really high price for any handset (even in the UK), let alone one running the not so modern Symbian^3 OS.
As we told you in our Nokia World 2010 live coverage, Nokia E7 is a QWERTY version of the Nokia N8 with a bigger screen and without the 12MP camera (it has a 8MP camera capable of HD recording and only two days ago we showed you what to expect from it). It has a 4-inch AMOLED display with 360x640 resolution along with ARM 11 processor clocked at 680MHz. Its release date in the States is rumoured to be in Q4 of this year and its US carriers are still unannounced, as well as its price.
