Nokia Collection now offers final version of the Nokia Xpress Browser
Back in October, we told you all about the Nokia Xpress browser which was then in beta. Similar to Opera Mini, the Xpress browser compresses websites on a server before they are sent to your phone. The advantage to the user is that pages load quicker, burning less data. In fact, the Xpress browser compresses your data by as much as two-thirds, which can save you money on your bill while at the same time extending your battery life.

The update is available in the Nokia Collection and was updated with new features in November. Now, the final version of the software is available and it includes features like Magazine which offers a magazine-style format for your news feeds, similar to Flipboard. The Xpress browser also allows you to monitor data usage and savings which can be seen on a live tile on the start page and via a detailed dashboard inside the app. In-page search allows you to click on a word and find related content from Wikipedia, YouTube and Bing. The browser also allows you to save and store images and video to SkyDrive without it counting against your data plan. And any web page you call up can be translated with one click.

You can download the software on to your Nokia Lumia device running Windows Phone 7.x or Windows Phone 8.x for free by clicking on the sourcelink.
