Nokia Asha 503 leaks: gorgeous design and most advanced camera in Asha series
The Nokia Asha 503 is one of the devices the Finnish phone maker is expected to announce on October 22nd, and now we get to see a press render leak out and spoil the surprise. The press image, coming courtesy of the prolific @evleaks shows a device with a stand-out design. Nokia calls this design approach “dual-shot” as there are two layers that phone’s body is made of - a translucent outer one, and a colorful inner plastic layer.
The Asha 503 will obviously be a touch-only device (likely with a capacitive touchscreen) and the screenshots confirm it will run Twitter. As an Asha, it will run on the Series 40 feature phone platform in its latest version, optimized for touch and with some MeeGo-borrowed elements.
Interestingly, there’s a 5-megapixel camera with a single LED flash, the highest we have ever seen on an Asha so far.

The Asha 503 seems to come in six colors - a black, white, red, green, cyan and yellow. That’s about all the information we have about this device, but in just two weeks it should go official, do you think a feature phone like this could still reverberate with consumers?
