Nokia 9 PureView launch brought forward, could now happen in January

According to the source that originally revealed the delay, HMD Global, which is the company in charge of developing Nokia devices, has moved the unveiling forward to “an earlier date” due to the “media hype” surrounding the smartphone and, presumably, the response from fans of the brand. At the moment, the exact date of the announcement remains unclear. However, it was confirmed that it will still take place in 2019, which indicates that a January unveiling is now on the cards.
Alongside these details, the flagship is set to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845. This could be coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity remains unknown at the moment and, despite its popularity among consumers, there won’t be a headphone jack.
