Alleged Nokia 7.1 (Plus) surfaces in live images
HMD Global has already confirmed a launch event for October 4, but we still don't know what the Finnish company plans to announce. It could be either the new Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus, or HMD will formally release the Nokia 5.1 Plus and 6.1 Plus globally.
Until next month, we have a couple of pictures that allegedly show the unannounced Nokia 7.1 Plus or the Nokia 7.1. Since the front side of the phone hasn't been captured in the shots, we're unable to confirm the presence of the notch.

However, judging by what we can see in the pictures, the phone doesn't look like any other Nokia handset launched by HMD Global, so it might as well be the Nokia 7.1 Plus. The phone does feature a dual camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back, whereas the LED flash is positioned to the left of the camera bump.
No connectivity ports are visible in any of the pictures leaked, but it does look like the phone will be available in at least two color variants: Black and White (Silver?). The phone seems to feature a glass-like build, although we can't be sure yet.
Specs-wise, Nokia 7.1 Plus should be a mid-range device, but we don't have any details about its price for the moment, so we can only hope that it will be competitive enough to make it popular among consumers.
