Interesting Nokia 7 Plus (with tall 18:9 screen) and Nokia 1 leak out
Having sold more than 4 million smartphones in the last quarter of 2017, HMD Global (maker of Nokia-branded handsets) is certainly in a good position to release new phone models throughout 2018.

Not long ago, we heard that a Nokia 7 Plus and a Nokia 1 should be launched sometime this year. HMD hasn't confirmed their existence, but we can now take a pretty good look at both these upcoming devices - thanks to photos revealed by Evan Blass (aka @evleaks).

The Nokia 7 Plus (or Nokia 7+) is quite an interesting device, and seems to be the first Nokia-branded smartphone to sport a screen with rounded corners. According to previous rumors, this screen is a 6-inch one with a modern 18:9 aspect ratio (its pixel resolution isn't known). The handset should also feature a not-too-bad Snapdragon 660 processor, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal memory. Oh, and there's a standard 3.5mm headset jack at the top, too.

On the back, the Nokia 7 Plus hosts a dual Zeiss-branded camera, a fingerprint scanner, and an Android One logo - this means the phone will run stock Android (Android 8 Oreo for the beginning), with timely updates for at least 2 years after launch.

As for the Nokia 1, this is a low-end smartphone, and its design certainly reflects that. The handset is supposed to offer features like a 720 x 1280 pixels screen, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of internal memory. The Nokia 1 should run Android Go Edition - a lightweight version of Android specifically developed by Google for entry-level phones.

Both the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1 could be officially announced at MWC 2018, possibly alongside a high-end Nokia 9. We'll be there
