Nokia 600 runs Symbian Belle and comes equipped with the loudest speaker on a phone to date
Those of you who like their tunes and like them loud should probably check out what just rolled out of Nokia's workshop. The veil was taken off of the Nokia 600 – a reasonably priced, multimedia oriented smartphone, which comes equipped with the mightiest loudspeaker to ever grace a smartphone.
Other goodies that make the Nokia 600 special include its built-in FM radio antenna, which means that you won't have to plug in a pair of earphones every time you feel like listening to your favorite station. Besides that, the handset comes equipped with an FM transmitter that lets you broadcast music stored on the device and listen to it on an FM receiver.
Taking a peek under the smartphone's hood we see a 1GHz processor ticking inside. The 3.2-inch display on the Nokia 600 boasts a resolution of 360 by 640 pixels, and its 5-megapixel fixed focus camera is capable of shooting 720p video. Of course, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity are also in tow, and the freshly baked Symbian Belle is in charge of the whole show.
The Nokia 600 will hit the stores in the third quarter of 2011 and getting one will cost you 180 Euro (about $260).
