Do you own a Switch handheld game console? If the answer is yes, then you've probably already purchased the highly-anticipated Splatoon 2, which is expected to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch on July 21.
Well, it looks like Nintendo has just released Switch Online companion app for its handheld game console. The application is available on both Android and iOS platforms, and it's been designed to boost the online gameplay experience on the Nintendo Switch.
For example, if you play Splatoon 2, you will be able to take advantage of the dedicated SplatNet 2 service, which will allow you to monitor important battle-related information, as well as match results, stages, and rankings.
Moreover, the app enables players to invite friends to play with them in supported games via social media networks like Facebook and Twitter. Voice chat while gaming is available too, but only for those games compatible with the mobile application.
