Next-gen Windows RT tablets to be rocking NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor
We had a tip recently that HTC is prepping its first tablets with Microsoft's upcoming Windows RT Blue operating system, that runs on ARM-based processors, which in their turn are famous with their frugal power consumption/performance ratio.

These two HTC R7 and R12 tablets, however, were listed as powered by Qualcomm processors, whereas now NVIDIA revealed in its conference call with investors after the quarterly results issue, that "multiple" Windows RT tablets will be sporting the powerful Tegra 4 processor, instead of a Snapdragon.

Rene Haas, Nvidia’s VP of computing products, also said that “Nvidia is very invested and very committed to Windows RT, and we feel it has a bright future. We feel this [platform] is where things are going.”
