New "made for Bond" Sony Xperia phone (Z5?) could be announced in the next several months
Sony already launched a new flagship smartphone this year (the Xperia Z3+ / Z4), but that doesn't mean it's done with flagships for 2015. Just like in the past years, Sony is likely going to introduce another flagship handset in the second half of 2015. This is expected to be the Xperia Z5, which might be accompanied by an Xperia Z5 Compact.
The Xperia Z5 could be marketed as a "made for Bond" smartphone, or at least that's what two recently revealed promo images are suggesting. The images show the name of an "Xperia *5" associated with the upcoming Spectre 007 film - the 24th film in the James Bond series, which will be distributed by Columbia Pictures (a studio owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment).
Of course, the handset mentioned on these promo images might not be the Z5. But, since this is expected to be Sony's next flagship, it's hard to believe that the company will want to promote another smartphone as being "made for Bond."
Spectre, the new Bond movie, will debut on November 6. We assume that Sony will announce the Xperia Z5 before the new film hits theaters.

According to recent rumors, the Xperia Z5 might be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, sporting a 1080 x 1920 pixels screen (just like the Xperia Z3+.). However, nothing's confirmed yet, so don't let these apparently unexciting details put you off.
