New Windows Phone 7 device from Asus suddenly surfaces?
If you've managed to take a quick peek at the calendar recently, you'll notice that there is less than 5 months left before the year is up – and probably even less time before we begin to see Windows Phone 7 devices permeate stores across the globe. No doubt there are plenty of manufacturers on board with the new platform, but now it looks like one handset created by Asus has been leaked. The image captured that clearly show the “powered by ASUS” branding was captured in Pakistan. Although it's hard to deny that it's a pre-production unit at this point, the potential of it to ultimately become a retail unit is looking pretty good when you consider the precious time between now and the launch of Windows Phone 7 – well, that's unless this one doesn't plan on being part of the launch festivities. Just taking a quick glance, you can make out a serial number towards the top with even a small notch that may house a front-facing camera. Aside from that, those are probably the most definitive things that can be concluded from the image.
