New Sony Xperia C6 render reveals a near bezel-less display
Next month, at MWC 2016, Sony will host a press conference to announce new devices, and one of them might be the Xperia C6. While Sony didn't confirm the existence of the C6, earlier this month we saw a few photos that allegedly presented the handset in the wild. Now, we can also see a render of the Xperia C6, which, according to @OnLeaks (usually a reliable source) is based on the phone's factory schematics.
It looks like the Xperia C6 borrows a lot from the design of last year's Sony Xperia C5 Ultra, a mid-range handset that sports a near bezel-less 6-inch 1080p display. That being said, we don't know how large the screen of the C6 is, though it's probably safe to assume that it's not smaller than 5 inches. In any case, rumor has it that this is going to be a 1080p screen. Also based on rumors, we know that the Xperia C6 might be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor - not a high-end chipset, but one that aims to offer decent performance at reduced costs.
As suggested by the new Sony Xperia C6 render (seen below), the smartphone should be available in at least three color variants. As for when and where the C6 will be released, that's anyone's guess. But we'll let you know as soon as we find out.
